A. PROPELLER SHAFT
(4X2)
REAR PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL
1. Loosen and remove the mounting nut
(4 Nos.)
of flange yoke from rear axle. Take out the rear
end of propeller shaft from rear axle along with
vibration damper.
2. Pull out the propeller shaft from the slip joint at
the centre bearing.
FITMENT
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL
1. Remove rear propeller shaft.
2. Remove the Stone guard rear piece from
bottom side for easy access.

removal procedure refer Body section)
3. Loosen and remove the bearing strap bracket
retaining bolts at centre bearing joint from cross
member.
4. Loosen and remove the mounting nut
(4 nos)

of flange yoke from the gear box end and
take out the front end of propeller shaft.
5. Carefully remove the propeller shaft along with
centre bearing, bracket and rubber cushion.
FITMENT
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
NOTE
Discard the Nyloc nut and use new at the time
of assembly.
Check the slip yoke assembly after fitment.
