8.15.4 DIAGNOSTIC USER MANUAL:
GENERAL:
RPS ECU is used to guide the user at the time of reverse parking. With the Reverse Park system
user can park his car with confidence and peace of mind. RPS (Reverse Parking System) diagnostic tester is
useful to diagnosis the complete RPS ECU of the TATA Safari Storme vehicle the tester is useful for the user
to find out all the faults which are present in the vehicle and ECU Data, Sensor Data etc.
SALIENT FEATURES:
The Diagnostic Tester software for Safari RPS is capable to communicate with ECU in the vehicle
through Serial K-Line Interface. The tester comprises of an Interface Unit and custom built application
software. The user friendly application software can be easily installed on Windows Desktop or Laptop.
The interface unit is lightweight and compact in size to facilitate easy portability. It works on vehicle
battery supply.
The tester application executes all the commands supported by RPS ECU, which helps in diagnosis
of RPS ECU.
