IGNITION KEY 13. A. IGNITION REMOTE KEY (IF APPLICABLE) An Foldable Remote Key is an electronic access and authorization system which is provided as a standard feature on your vehicle. Vehicle is provided with two Foldable Remote Keys. Each Key is specific to the immobilizer of vehicle. FUNCTIONAL DETAILS 1. Unlock 2. Folding Key In / Out Unlocking principle: The transponder which is built into the ignition Foldable Remote Key carries a unique identification code. The vehicle unlocks when the code on the Foldable Remote Key matches with the code on the Engine Management system (VCU). Engine Starting: When the key is inserted and the ignition is switched ON, all codes are communicated within concerned components (Foldable Remote Key, Immobilizer and VCU).
