IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM STATUS IN VCU ECU: The information given in table below is the status of Immobilizer system in VCU & it can be accessed by steps given below. STEPS: 1. Connect the VCU ECU diagnostic tester to the Diagnostic connector in the vehicle 2. Start the communication 3. Go to “Engine parameter” 4. Select “Electronic key” and press “Start” 5. The diagnostic tester will show the following SR NO TEXT INDICATED CONDITION DESCRIPTION NORMAL/ABNOR MAL 1 Immobilizer programmed in VCU - VCU ECU software is Immobilizer enabled Normal Virgin ECU - - Abnormal 2 Engine starting enabled by VCU Original E-Key in SCL Vehicle Ready to start Normal Engine starting disabled by VCU No/wrong E-Key in SCL Vehicle will not start Abnormal 3 Immobilizer code programmed in VCU but not locked Pairing operation not done properly AES key is written in to VCU but not locked Abnormal (displayed only if exists) 4 Immobilizer code programmed in VCU and locked Pairing operation OK AES key is written in to VCU and locked.
