EMERGENCY RELEASE CABLE • MECHANISM FOR TAILGATE LATCH ASSY In Case of Emergency situation like, battery drain out or latch actuator not working, the emergency release cable mechanism has been provided on the Tailgate panel. Remove the soft trim on Right side top corner by pulling by hand. 2. Once the trim is free from corner pull pin will be available. 3. Hold the pull pin and pull until the tailgate latch is released.
