TAIL GATE LOCK REMOVAL • 1. Remove the tail gate trim. 2. Disconnect the link between latch and the Lock Barrel. 3. From inside, slide out the lock plate from panel. 4. Pull out the tail gate lock from outside. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal. U. TAIL GATE LATCH CABLE 1. Open the tail gate. 2. Remove parcel shelf. 3. Remove rear seat backrest (for removal process refer rear seat removal process). 4. Flip the cushion assembly. 5. First remove the carpet on the right hand side of the vehicle so that the cable routing is visible. 6. Disconnect tailgate latch cable from tailgate latch lever. 7. Remove tail gate striker. (For procedure refer tailgate striker removal process.) 8. Disconnect tailgate latch cable from the tailgate striker. 9. Pull out the cable from luggage compartment. FITMENT For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal. NOTE Check the condition of the tailgate lock. Replace the lock if broken or damaged. BODY 35
