ECU REMOVAL IV. Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) ECU replacement and software update procedure in field. 1. Disconnect battery. (Refer battery removal procedure/Body Electrical group). 2. Remove two screws and one nut of cover nacelle. 3. Remove lower panel covers attached to the dashboard. 4. Disconnect the electrical connector’s from the ECU. 5. Remove the mounting bolts of ECU. Tightening torque -1.8 - 2.2 Kg-m. 6. Take out the ECU. REFITMENT: 1. Conduct the “Calibration” and “ECU” variant (Petrol or Diesel “by TATA tool. 2. Erase the DTC if available. 3. Turn off the IGN switch and wait for 20 sec or more. Then do regular check after starting the engine. Tightening torque value is 1.8 - 2.2 Kg-m. 1. Erase the DTC if available.
