4. Position the spring bottom rubber pad is to fixed to twist beam in two holes. Spring to be oriented such that end rest and against the stopper of bottom rubber pad. 5. Raise the torsion beam using hydraulic jack so that the coil spring gets compressed and shock absorber sits exactly over torsion beam properly. 6. Refit and Torque Rear Shock Absorber Bottom Fastener.( as per torque table). 7. Refit the rear wheels. 8. Remove the Car from 2 Post Lift. F. REMOVAL OF TORSION BEAM 1. Position the vehicle in the two post lift. 2. Remove the wheel cap and loosen wheel nuts. 3. Lift the vehicle using two post lift. 4. Remove the wheel. 5. Slacken off the hand brake cable. 6. Insert a screwdriver through the hole in drum and press against the hand brake lever. 7. A ‘click’ will be heard as the lever moves down. This movement compresses the pistons in the wheel cylinder and thereby increases the clearance between the brake shoes and the drum.
