Assemble the rear intermediate bearing cap. 10. Bolts to be oiled at treads and seating surface. 11. Tighten the assemblies in sequence as shown below with 1.5 ± 0.15kgfm torque: V. ASSEMBLY OF ENGINE TIMING CHAIN 1. Ensure Camshaft lobes are in correct position (refer camshaft assembly on head). 2. Ensure flywheel locked in TDC position. 3. Soft tighten the VCT and sprocket on respective cams with locating dowel. 4. With help of spanner slightly rotate both camshafts to match the arrow mark on VCT and sprocket as shown.
