Alternately all screws to be machine tightened 13. simultaneously in each step. Tighten the outer mounting bolts of the bed 14. plate in sequence as shown below. Fix the dial gauge and check crankshaft axial 15. play. It should be within specified limit (0.1 to 0.3 mm). Check for free rotational torque. 16. Apply the sealant on outer surface of the oil 17. seal. Assemble Rear oil seal. 18. Assemble flywheel & tighten its mounting bolts. 19. Lock the flywheel as shown using special tool. 20. NOTE Apply sealant to bolt no. 5 and 6. • NOTE Ensure the crankshaft is free in rotation. • Ensure the dowel pin. • NOTE Mating surfaces of crankcase and rear cover • should be cleaned.
