8. Place the crankshaft into the crankcase. 9. Insert the hollow dowels (8 no.s) into the crankcase. Assemble the lower bearing shell to the on the 10. bedplate. (Apply the coat of engine oil.) Apply the sealant to the Bedplate as shown in 11. below image. Assemble the bed plate in given sequence with 12. 100% of the final torque & angle (50Nm ± 5 Nm with 120° ± 15°). 1. Tighten to 50Nm ± 5 Nm (5kgfm ± 0.5 kgfm) as mentioned below. 2. Turn the bolt 120° ± 15° in sequence as mentioned below. NOTE Bolts to be oiled at threads and seating • surface.
