6. Remove the bearing shell from bearing cap. 7. Turn crankshaft to bring piston to top dead center. 8. Remove piston assembly from the cylinder block using wooden handle of the mallet. 9. Follow the same procedure to remove the remaining two pistons. Using suitable pliers, remove piston pin round 10. wire circlip. Remove the connecting rod bearing caps 11. along with bearing shells. Remove gudgeon pin from the small end of 12. connecting rod. NOTE While removing each bearing shell, mark on • its back in case of reuse.
