NEW NEXON SERVICE MANUAL

4. Lower the gearbox from the vehicle. (For procedure refer gearbox removal in Gearbox section.) 5. Pull out the clip using a screw driver and disconnect the hydraulic adapter from the concentric slave cylinder (CSC) by pulling it out. 6. Loosen and remove concentric slave cylinder (CSC) mounting bolts from the clutch housing. INSPECTION Check the concentric slave cylinder for any fluid leakage. Check the concentric slave cylinder mating surface for wear or any crack on the concentric cylinder. Clean the transmission input shaft and ensure that there is no damage or excessive wear on shaft seal area. FITMENT For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal. WARNING Small quantity of fluid will be present in the concentric salve cylinder and hydraulic adapter; therefore care should be taken that fluid does not fall in the housing. CAUTION Plug the opening with suitable cap to avoid entrance of any contaminations and dirt in the concentric slave cylinder. Flush the connecting parts/hose with clean clutch fluid before assembly to prevent contamination of the new cylinder. NOTE Uniformly Hand tighten all bolts so that CSC does not move freely and then finally tighten them to 1.2 ± 0.18 kg-m In case of any defect or excessive wear of concentric slave cylinder parts, it is recommended to replace the CSC assembly completely. Bleed the system only after complete installation of hydraulic system and assembly of clutch and flywheel. Do not mix Concentric Slave Cylinder mounting bolts with other fasteners. Do not use longer or shorter screws. Longer screws may not tighten the Concentric Slave Cylinder at all. Shorter screws will not provide enough threads to achieve desired tightening.
