D. CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL 1. Disconnect the battery connections. 2. Remove the splash guard and drain the clutch fluid from the hydraulic adapter. (For procedure refer clutch fluid draining procedure in this section.) 3. Pull out the clip using a screw driver and disconnect the high pressure line from clutch master cylinder by pulling it out. 4. Disconnect the hose connecting clutch master cylinder by removing the clamp. 5. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder from the clutch pedal as shown. 6. Turn the CMC 45º in clockwise direction and remove it from the bayonet adapter slots. FITMENT For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal. CONCENTRIC SLAVE CYLINDER REMOVAL 1. Disconnect battery connection. 2. Remove the splash guard and drain the clutch fluid from the hydraulic adapter. (For procedure refer clutch fluid draining procedure in this section.) 3. Pull out the clip using a screw driver and disconnect the high pressure line. NOTE After disconnecting the high pressure line, plug the CMC opening with suitable cap to avoid entry of any contaminants. NOTE Collect the fluid from the fluid reservoir in a clean container. OR Ensure that fluid does not fall from the hose. NOTE Be careful not to damage the master cylinder body. Check for rust and scoring of clutch hose. NOTE Ensure that a click sound is heard for proper fitment of hose at CMC end. No crack, breakage after turning CMC – LPP transition area. Make sure CMC is completely mounted in anticlockwise direction by checking locked (or) not. After installation of clutch master cylinder bleed the system.
