3. Install thrust washer upper half. 4. Install the Crankshaft into the cylinder block. 5. Install the thrust washer lower half shell. 6. Install all the lower main bearing halfs. 7. Tighten main bearing cap mounting bolts gently and uniformly in order as shown to specified torque NOTE Ensure that upper thrust washer notch • should be perfectly aligned on cylinder block groove and vertical grooves on the thrust washer should be facing towards crankshaft side.
