The purpose of the air filter is to clean the atmospheric air from dirt & dust before entering the engine cylinder. Air filter needs to be cleaned periodically and replaced at recommended intervals. For air filter cleaning and air filter element replacement, please refer the “On vehicle service” section of this manual. 2. INTAKE MANIFOLD The intake manifold is located between the air intake pipe supplying air from the intercooler and cylinder head. It is mounted on the cylinder head.
