7. Place the valve spring retainer. 8. Use Special Tool to compress and assemble the valve spring lock halves. 9. Assemble the RFF along with Hydraulic Lash Adjuster from the cylinder head as shown in below figure. Repeat the procedure for exhaust port, noting 10. the locations and components for each valve for proper reassembly. NOTE To avoid damage to valve tips, do not rotate • the camshaft.
