REFITMENT For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal. B. OAT SENSOR The ambient temperature sensor is an encapsulated thermistor that provides the ECU with an input of external air temperature. Ambient sensor is a thermistor that decreases its resistance when temperature increases and increases when temperature decreases. LOCATION Outside Ambient Temperature (OAT) sensor located on cross member behind the front bumper. CONNECTOR DETAIL INSPECTION Measure the resistance between terminals of the sensor at minimum two temperatures. The resistance value should match with stated values of resistance in table below REMOVAL Remove the Front bumper. (For removal, refer 1. Font Bumper removal procedure in Body Section). 2. Disconnect the electrical connection. 3. Pull out the OAT sensor from the location. FITMENT For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal.
