ASSEMBLY OF CARRIER 1. Hold carrier in the holding device firmly. 2. Assemble the new pad spring on the carrier on both leading side and trailing side. Assembly guide rod ‘B’ (with bush) (always • opposite to bleed screw side for both LH & RH). Brass colour. 3. Assemble boot guide rods, guide rod A and guide rod B. 4. Assemble the new carrier assembly to the knuckle. Apply recommended torque. Ensure correct fitment. 5. Carefully assemble the inner and outer pad assemblies respectively and ensure the free back and forth movements of pads. NOTE Guide rod ‘A’ (without bush) (always near • bleed screw side both LH & RH). BRAKE_PETROL 40
