INSTALLATION • Follow Reverse procedure for Installation of Torsion Beam. 1. Install twist beam front pivot bush using special tools as shown in below arrangement. 2. Tighten the cross bolt of the twist beam. 3. Lift and properly position the twist beam along with bracket. 4. Tighten the four bolts on bracket from both sides. 5. Fix the shock absorber and coil spring to the torsion beam. (Refer the refitment of shock absorber and coil springs) 6. Fix the Hub assembly & brake shoe assembly with Gen3 bearing. (refer Gen 3 bearing installation procedure). NOTE During RTB assembly, • resting/lifting/handling not to done on beam centre portion to avoid damages like notch/ scratch/ chipping/ digging/ bending/ deformation etc. During RTB assembly ensure it is • centralised correctly with BIW so as to have equal rear toe on LH and RH side. Tightening with snug torqueing and angle • torqueing of Rear Suspension on body to be done in ECIE / Preload condition only. No jacking to be done on beam. SUSPENSION_DIESEL 41
