G. TORSION BEAM 1. Position the vehicle on two post lift. 2. Remove the wheel cap and loosen wheel nuts. 3. Lift the vehicle using two post lift. 4. Remove the wheel. 5. Slacken off Hand Brake cable. 6. Remove two screws & take out Brake Drum by gently tapping with the mallet. 7. Detach the hand brake cable from the lever on the trailing shoe by moving the lever towards the centre of the brake and removing the cable nipple from its location in the end of the lever. 8. Remove Clip for Parking brake cable holding. 9. Insert a screwdriver through the hole in drum and press against the hand brake lever. A ‘click’ will be heard as the lever moves down. 10. This movement compresses the pistons in the wheel cylinder and thereby increases the clearance between the brake shoes and the drum. Remove the hand brake cable mounting on the 11. Twist Blade.
