Separate Hub Assy with bearing (Gen-3) from 16. Knuckle by removing 4 bolts. GEN-3 BEARING INSTALLATION PROCEDURE: Ensure Gen-3 Bearing Mounting Procedure As Below 1. It requires specific care for bolt tightening sequence and torque value. 2. Sequences of bolt tightening of inner flange into the knuckle normally carried out as described in view. 3. Apply thread locker to all bolts. 2-3 kg.m tightening torque value (pre tension) is applied to bolts is sequence of 1-3-2-4. 4. Final tightening torque value must be then applied with same sequence with 11.7 kgM torque. 5. Bolt tightening sequence must be followed to avoid abnormal Residual Face Deformation of Gen-3 Bearing. 1. Ensure front Gen3 bearing with integrated washer as shown in below image. 2. Assemble the parts in revers sequence for assembly. 3.APPLY MoS2 Grease (Part number 55177860077) on driveshaft as shown in below image*. *PROCEDURE OF MoS2 GREASE/PASTE APPLICATION ON DRIVESHAFT WHEEL END SPLINES PRIOR TO ITS ASSEMBLY WITH BEARING) Ensure driveshaft splines are clean before • grease application. Grease to be applied over 20 to 25 mm of the • spline length. Ensure grease filled the spline depth • completely. No foreign particle allowed, like burr, dust, • thread etc. No grease/paste allowed on bearing butting • face and bearing/washer face. 4. Tighten drive shaft nut 24.5 ± 1.5 kg-m torque and lock by staking. 5. Ensure that oil seal in transaxle is not damaged while fitting drive shaft. NOTE Apply adhesive thread locker HS TS: 25408 • on bearing mounting allen screws (thread locker code no: 56506 002562) before fitment. SUSPENSION_DIESEL 28
