Assemble both the sides Ventilation Hose Clamp on HP Line at cylinder valve after leak test found OK with tightening torque 0.3 Kg-m and orientation of hose clamp to be maintain as accessibility. CAUTION Do not try to screw / unscrew the valve by holding the manual ON /OFF knob. After complete installation of the cylinder valve, check all the connections of cylinder valve and then slowly open the manual ON/OFF knob of the valve until it is fully open. NOTE Never try to remove the cylinder valve on vehicle. Removal of cylinder valve from cylinder shall done by TATA Motors Ltd authorized dealers or government authorized cylinder recertification agencies only. Get the CNG Cylinder checked and recertified after every 3 years or as per the latest CVMR rules at Govt approved test agencies mentioned in this Manual Never fill CNG cylinder with air, LPG or any fuel except CNG. Keep the vehicle away from any Fire source. Remove the CNG tank during the welding / brazing work on the Car. I. HIGH PRESSURE LINE Before removal of any HP line from vehicle, ensure to have line marking on coupling nut and adopter as given in below image. ASSEMBLY IN CASE OF NEW HP LINE FITMENT ON VEHICLE 1. For pre-swaged pipes, during making the joints on vehicle, turn the coupling nut to its original position by hand. 2. An increase in resistance will encountered at the original position, then tighten slightly with wrench. 3. Coupling nut shall ride freely on respective connectors. 4. Ensure proper alignment. 5. End of full length and bent tubes to be sealed with plastic plugs. 6. Do not use Teflon tape/thread sealant on ferrule joints. 7. Use of m/s Swagelok make Teflon tape 12.7 mm width (part number ms-str-8) on taper thread joints is allowed. 8. Insert the tube with pre-swaged ferrules into the fitting until the front ferule seats against the fitting body; rotate the nut finger tight. 9. Mark the nut at the 6 o clock position.
