1.2L REVOTRON TWIN CYLINDER CNG ENGINE 137 26. Ensure that the Cylinder threads are free from burrs, Teflon tape and any irregularities. 27. Leave the first one thread should be uncovered and apply the recommended Swagelok Teflon tape in clockwise across the threading with spiral moment till end of the thread & come back again with same moment till 1st thread again have 2nd round of tape application in same manner through & fro (4 to 6 uniform layers). NOTE Make sure that tape does not overhang the first threads it may block passage / small orifices in the valve. 28. Cut-off excess tape and draw free end of the tape and press firmly at the overlay point. 29. Do not reuse Teflon tape once removed from cylinder valve. 30. Put the stem protection cap / cylinder neck ”ORing” on the valve thread. 31. Place the valve thread into the cylinder neck manually and screw it in clock-wise direction till hand tight. 32. Hold the cylinder in a suitable fixture, Standard wheel chock may be use for this application. 33. Tighten the valve to a torque value 23 Kg-m using a torque wrench & tightening tool (Part No: 5424 5890 4701).
