1.2L REVOTRON TWIN CYLINDER CNG ENGINE 102 1. CNG Fuel Injector 2. CNG Fuel Rail CNG delivered to the intake manifold through the fuel rail. The timing of injection and quantity is controlled by the EMS ECU through PT sensor at the rail end. 3. CNG Fuel Tank Function: CNG is stored in a high pressure cylinder at a pressure of 200 bar (working pressure). The maximum storage pressure of CNG in cylinder is up to 260 bar. Mounting Location: The CNG cylinder is located in the boot of the car mounted on the rear floor at six points in a cradle. 4. Regulator The Pressure Regulator reduces the CNG pressure from 200 bars (working pressure) to 4 bar. A 15 microns filter is inbuilt inside the Pressure regulator for filtering CNG coming from the tank. An electrical solenoid is also mounted on the Pressure regulator that allows and stops gas flow to Regulator. There is an over pressure relief valve which automatically opens if pressure inside regulator increases up to 10 ± 2 bar. A high pressure sensor is also connected on the inlet of the pressure regulator is used for displaying the quantity of CNG in the tank on the instrument cluster.
