BODY 13 2. Sun Roof System General Description Sun roof system consists of sun roof unit, sun roof motors with sun roof control modules and sun roof switch. The system can perform slide and tilt operations. Sun roof system is controlled by the sun roof control modules built in motor. Sun roof switch has “OPEN”, “CLOSE” and “TILT” positions. By operating this switch, the sun roof performs the actions shown in the following table depending on its position. Sun roof system has anti-pinching function in slide close operation and tilt down operation. Description of Auto-Slide: Auto Slide Function Auto slide function can be activated as follows with ignition “ON”. o Auto slide-open: Fully closed or partly opened sun roof opens fully by pressing sun roof switch “OPEN” to 2nd detent/step. o Auto slide-close: Fully or partly opened sun roof closes fully by pressing sun roof switch “CLOSE” to 2nd detent/step. Auto motion is suspended/stopped if any “OPEN”, “CLOSE” or “TILT” switch of the sun roof switch is pressed during auto operation.
