ELECTRICAL 4 D. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FEATURE DESCRIPTION I. Speedometer Display Speedometer Indicates the instantaneous vehicle speed driven by the user. At every key in and Ignition ON, speedo digits moves to 199 and come back to 0. II. Tacometer Gauge with dual color Tachometer Indicates the instantaneous engine speed. At every key in and Ignition ON, Tacho Bars moves to MAX and come back to ‘0’ position. Tachometer needle turns RED as a warning. WARNING: Whenever engine is accelerated beyond safe rpm, tachometer display turns RED. In such case, reduce the engine RPM immediately. Never drive the vehicle with engine in high RPM. This may cause serve engine damage. NOTE: At every key in and Ignition ON, tachometer LED display moves from Min to MAX and returns to Min position. This is a welcome strategy and a self-check feature. III. Petrol Fuel Gauge The fuel gauge indicates the approximate amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank when the ignition switch is on. “F” stands for full and “E” stands for Empty. When the ignition switch is in “ON” position, Petrol fuel LED gives an approximate indication of the amount of Petrol fuel in the Petrol fuel tank. “F” stands for full and “E” stands for Empty. When Petrol fuel in the Petrol tank is near to empty position, Petrol low fuel warning telltale turns ON. Refill the Petrol tank as soon as possible. If Petrol fuel is not filled even after Petrol Low fuel-warning telltale ON, then First bar in Petrol fuel gauge will start blinking to indicate more severe Petrol low fuel warning. NOTE: On inclines or curves, the Petrol fuel gauge may fluctuate or the 1st bar may blink or Petrol low fuel telltale may turn ON earlier than actual due to the movement of fuel in the tank. On inclines, curves, braking and sudden acceleration due to the movement of Petrol fuel in the Petrol tank, the Petrol fuel level display may fluctuate or the Petrol low fuel level warning lamp may illuminate earlier than usual. Always check the Petrol fuel level when the vehicle is on level road. When the ignition switch is in the “ON” position, this gauge gives an approximate indication of the amount of Petrol fuel in the Petrol fuel tank and it takes few seconds to stabilize after the ignition is turned ON.
