Leave first one or two threads uncovered and 25. apply the recommended Swagelok Teflon tape in clockwise across the threading with spiral moment till end of the thread & come back again with same moment till 1st thread again have 2nd round of tape application in same manner through & fro (4 to 6 uniform layers). Do not re-use Teflon tape removed from 26. cylinder valve again Cut-off excess tape and draw free end of the 27. tape and press firmly at the overlay point. 28. Put the stem protection cap / cylinder neck ”ORing” on the valve thread. Place the valve thread into the cylinder neck 29. manually and screw it in clock-wise direction till hand tight.
