1.5L REVOTORQ ENGINE 120 L. HIGH PRESSURE PUMP REMOVAL AND REFITMENT REMOVAL 1. Place the vehicle on the two post lift and engage the parking brake. 2. Remove the top timing cover mounting bolts accessible from the bonnet side. 3. Remove the top timing cover mounting bolts accessible from below the vehicle. 4. Take the vehicle down and remove the top timing cover from the top. 5. Lock the timing (cam lock, crank lock) before starting work on timing drive system. 6. Hold the FIP gear with special tool (2654 5890 05 01). 7. Loosen the FIP gear mounting nut. 8. Keep the mounting nut loosely wound on the HP pump shaft. 9. Relieve tension of the belt by adjusting the auto tensioner.
