ECU REMOVAL D. Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) ECU replacement and software update procedure in field. Disconnect battery. (Refer battery removal 1. procedure/Body Electrical group). Remove two screws and one nut of cover 2. nacelle. Remove lower panel covers attached to the 3. dashboard. Disconnect the electrical connector’s from the 4. ECU. Remove the mounting bolts of ECU. Tightening 5. torque -1.8 - 2.2. Take out the ECU. 6. REFITMENT Conduct the “Calibration” and “ECU” variant “by 1. TATA tool. Erase the DTC if available. 2. Turn off the IGN switch and wait for 20 sec or 3. more. Then do regular check after starting the Vehicle. Tightening torque value is 18-22 Nm.
