Check for any damage to self-cancellation lugs, if found, replace complete steering wheel. INSTALLATION Align the marks made on the steering wheel 1. and the shaft. Install steering wheel on steering shaft Tighten the steering wheel nut to the specified 2. torque. Tightening torque (Steering wheel nut) = 4Kg-m it horn pad (Press fit type). 3. Connect battery. 4. STEERING COLUMN REMOVAL B. Disconnect the connection of battery. 1. Remove steering wheel (Refer Steering wheel 2. removal procedure). Remove 2 nos screws of nacelle bottom cover 3. & take out the nacelle bottom cover. Remove the mounting nut of steering column. 4. Remove combination switch. (Refer body 5. section / Electrical section). Remove the clock spring. (Refer body section / 6. Electrical section). Remove the dash board bottom cover (Refer 7. body section).
