ON VEHICLE REPAIRS 5. STEERING WHEEL REMOVAL A. Park the car with front wheel in straight ahead 1. position. Apply parking brake and place wheel chokes at rear wheels. Disconnect battery. 2. Insert screw driver into hole and press to unlock 3. the DAB assembly. Pull out the DAB assy. 4. Remove the steering wheel nut. 5. Remove steering wheel using steering wheel 6. puller. (Part No. 8855TOOL0001) Image for Illustration only INSPECTION WARNING Before removing steering wheel make alignment marks on the steering wheel and the shaft for guiding during reinstallation. CAUTION Don’t excessive force or hammering on steering wheel for fitment; Care should be taken such that self-cancellation lugs do not get damaged (self-cancellation lugs are shown in below figure with arrows).
