Place the crankshaft. 8. Spread the liquid red sealant on crankcase 9. without spilling the sealant in oil paths / inside the block. Assemble the lower bearing shell to the 10. bedplate. (Apply the coat of engine oil.) Assemble the bed plate by tightening the 11. mounting bolts. Fix the dial gauge and check crankshaft axial 12. play. It should be within specified limit (0.1 to 0.3 mm). Check for free rotational torque. 13. Apply the sealant on outer surface of the oil 14. seal. Assemble Crankcase Rear Cover with Rear oil 15. seal. NOTE Ensure the crankshaft is free in rotation. Ensure the dowel pin. NOTE Mating surfaces of crankcase and rear cover should be cleaned.
