BRAKE 39 9. Remove the brake pipes from the unit and plug the unit ports with suitable grommet. 10. Identify the brake pipes going into and out of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) with tags so that reinstallation of the brake lines becomes easy. 11. Disconnect I - VBAC connector & Motor connector. NOTE: Refer steps (i) and (ii) to disconnect I - VBAC Connector. (i) Press the unlock button and remove the lever from the lock and move towards unlocking position. (ii) Lock the lever to it is unlock position by pressing the lever till the Click sound is heard and remove the connector from unit. WARNING: Never apply a 12V power source to any terminal of the ECU connector when it’s disconnected. NOTE: Proper care must be taken before removing the brake pipes from HCU; the HCU must be thoroughly cleaned to prevent dirt particles from falling into the ports of HCU or entering the brake pipes. 12. Loosen & remove the mountings of I-VBAC Unit & take out the I - VBAC Unit. NOTE:  I - VBAC UNIT is not serviceable.  Complete Unit Need To Be Replaced In Case Of Failure. INSTALLATION 1. Place & align the I-VBAC unit with the mounting studs at appropriate places. 2. Mount & tighten the nuts of unit to specified torque (2.0 – 2.5) & sequence.
