I - VBAC UNIT REMOVAL Following precautions should be carried while working on I - VBAC. 2) Before undertaking any electric arc welding work, disconnect the I - VBAC connector. 3) During paintwork operations or major repair work, which are likely to subjected to higher temperature (above 85° C), The HCU must be removed. 4) Before removing the unit, the battery must be disconnected. 5) Terminals must be fully tightened while installing battery. 6) Electrical wiring not to be repaired (should be replaced). REMOVAL 1. Turn OFF the ignition switch. 2. Disconnect battery terminal. 3. Loosen & remove the battery strap & remove battery. 4. Remove battery tray. 5. Recover the AC gas from vehicle. 6. Disconnect the AC gas suction hose. 7. Loosen & remove the AC gas suction hose to compressor mounting to avoid damage. 8. Remove the hose pipe TMC reservoir to I - VBAC Unit.
