DRIVESHAFT (AT) 11 4.Remove and discard the retaining clip. 5.Remove and discard the Constant Velocity (CV) joint boot. FITMENT 1. Clean and inspect the components for deterioration. Important: Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling these components. 2. Install a new retaining clip. 3. Install a new Constant Velocity (CV) joint boot & small clamp. 4. Pack the outer CV joint with the grease supplied. 5. Install the old halfshaft nut onto the CV joint as illustrated to protect the thread. 6. Using a suitable soft faced hammer, strike the CV joint in the direction shown.
