STEERING 27 5. STEERING ANGLE CALIBRATION DESCRIPTION Steering wheel angle sensor is an absolute steering wheel angle sensor. The sensor provides an absolute steering wheel angle over the full measuring range (which depends upon the length of the mechanical rack). The steering angle is derived from the value of the rotor position sensor which is located on the motor of EPAS (Electronic power assisted steering).
