1.2L REVOTRON ENGINE 127 VIII. Removal of Cylinder Head SubAssemblies NOTE To avoid damage to valve tips, do not rotate the camshaft. 1. Remove the RFF along with Hydraulic Lash Adjuster (HLA) from the cylinder head as shown in figure below. 2. Using Special Tool, to compress and remove the valve spring lock halves. CAUTION Use only special tool for removing the lock halves. Not adhering could result in injury. 3. Remove the valve spring retainer. 4. Remove the valve spring. 5. Remove the valve guide seal. 6. Remove the spring seat. NOTE Valve guide cannot be removed directly as it is press fit, first tilt the head and remove valves from bottom.
