11 ENGINE2.2LDICOR Fig. 6 Remove the belt. (Fig. 6) Inspection Inspect theAC Compressor belt for wear, cracks and signs of failures. Replace if necessary. Fitment Install the belt over crank shaft pulley, PS Pump pulley, Alternator pulley and belt tensioner. Rotate the belt tensioning screw in anticlockwise direction till correct belt tension is set. Tighten the tensioner mounting nut with 4 Kgm torque. Check belt tension. Check the frequency in SPAN (Alternator to PS pump) with CLAVIS gauge. Frequency should be 250+10 Hz for new belt. Belt to be re-tensioned to 220+10Hz on vehicle after running for 15 mins.
