FRONT AXLE (4X2) 7 FRONT AXLE (4X2) 3. Check the condition of hex. nut for stripped or worn out threads. Replace with new one if required. 4. Check the condition of the upper and lower wishbone ball joints. Check for excessive play in ball joints. If required replace with new one. (For procedure refer suspension section) 5. Check the condition of ball joints of tie rods and ARB link. If necessary replace with new one. 6. Check brake disc for scoring marks and measure disc size. Replace with new one if found undersize. (For procedure refer Brakes section) INSTALLATION 1. Make sure all parts are clean and free from dust. 2. Connect lower wishbone ball joint. 3. Connect upper wishbone ball joint. 4. Reconnect steering rack and pinion OBJ end to stub axle and tighten hex nut to 7 - 8 Kgm torque 5. Reconnect ARB link to stub axle and tighten the nut to 8 - 10 Kgm torque.
