FRONT SUSPENSION 15 FRONT SUSPENSION B. FRONT STRUT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL 1. Position the vehicle on two post lift and remove front wheels. 2. Remove the stone guard. 3. Support the lower wishbone using jack and remove the ARB. (For procedure refer Anti Roll Bar removal procedure in this section.) 4. Loosen and remove the Strut assembly lower mounting nut and remove the bolt of the assembly which is on the lower wishbone assembly. 5. Slightly lower the jack supporting the lower wishbone to dislodge the strut from its mounting bracket on the lower wishbone. 6. Loosen and remove the three mounting nuts of the Strut assembly which are at the top side. !! WARNING Do not remove the strut assembly flange nut at the centre, as it holds the coil spring in its place on the shock absorber. 7. Take out the lower end of strut assembly from the bracket which is welded with lower wishbone by lowering the jack. 8. Remove the Strut assembly along with the coil spring. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse procedure of removal.
