Release the clutch pedal slowly without jerk and hold it at released position for minimum 2 seconds. 10.Repeat the steps 5 to 9 until fluid coming in the container is free from air bubbles. ! CAUTION Fluid drained from the system should be discarded. 11.After completion of bleeding operation ensure that bleeding valve is turned to off position. 12.Disconnect the bleeding pipe and reinstall the dust cap. C. CLUTCH FLUID DRAINING PROCEDURE 1. Remove the stone guard for access of bleeding valve (hydraulic adapter) from the vehicle. 2. Clean the external areas of the hydraulic adapter and remove the dust cap from the hydraulic adapter bleeding connection. 3. Connect the bleed pipe to the hydraulic adapter bleeding connection. 4. Place the other end of bleed pipe in a clean container which should be at a lower level than the slave cylinder and ensure that the pipe is submerged in the clutch fluid. 5. Remove the clamp from the hose at the CMC end and hold the hose connecting line in vertically upward position to avoid any further loss of fluid.
