This is achieved by maintaining the Evaporator at a higher target temperature.  ROTARY KNOBS 1. Blower speed selection The Fan Speed selector knob is an encoder that allows the user to select 7 different blower speeds. By reducing the blower speed to zero, it allows the user to turn the system off. The Blower control shall be functional at all times when control head receives ignition voltage. Blower control shall indicate the control of the quantity of air flow, which is accomplished by controlling the speed of the blower fan. The Blower control shall happen either manually or through an automatic climate control algorithm. Blower speed control during Auto operation The Blower control shall switch to Auto operation immediately after the user presses the Auto button. The desired blower speed shall be determined by the climate control algorithm during Auto operation. The display of the blower speed icon shall remain blank and not indicate the current blower speed during Auto operation. Blower speed control during Manual operation The Blower speed control shall switch to the Manual operation immediately after the user turns the blower knob. In the Manual operation, the driver shall select the blower by rotating the blower knob on the control head. It shall be possible for the user to select from 7 different blower speed levels (excluding OFF).
