DRIVETRAIN 403 DRIVETRAIN GEAR SHIFTER LINKAGE A. GEARSHIFTERCABLEREPLACEMENT 1. Remove the Gear shifter console, for procedure refer Body group GEAR CONSOLE REMOVAL ANDFITMENT. 2. Disconnect the shifter cable at the gear lever end by removing the metal clip by expanding it and pulling it out. 3. Disconnect the selector cable by removing the lock pin with the help of screw driver. (Do not reuse the lock pin). 4. Pull out the mounting clips and free the cable from the gear shifter housing using a screw driver. 5. Disconnect the cables at the transaxle end as follows. 6. Press the clips to disengage the snap and pull out the cable.
