Revotron 1.2T 115 7. Place piston cooling nozzles with gasket to the cylinder block and tighten the cap screw to specific torque. NOTE • Apply light coat of engine oil to all main bearing shells and crankshaft journals. • Ensure crankshaft holes are properly cleaned and free from any blockages. 8. Place the crankshaft. 9. Install the main bearing shells to the main bearing caps. 10. Fix the thrust washers on fourth bearing cap. 11. Install 3rd, 5th, 2nd and 1st Main bearing caps with shell in their respective position on crankcase with arrow mark facing towards oil filter on block. 12. Install main bearing caps in their respective positions. (Arrow mark pointing towards oil filter side.) 13. Tighten main bearing cap mounting bolts evenly in order 3-4-2-5-1 to the specified torque. NOTE • Ensure the crankshaft is free in rotation. 14. Fix the dial gauge and check crankshaft axial play. It should be within specified limit. 15. Measure free rotational torque. It should be within specified limit. 16. Apply the sealant on outer surface of the oil seal.
