FATC 17 5. XPRESS COOLING This helps cabin to reach to comfort temperatures quickly by optimally setting the air conditioning to maximum cooling. Also, if required, the driver win- dow will roll down to flush the hot air from inside the cabin. XPRESS Cooling can be turned On/Off by Fascia switch or by a soft key from Head Unit. Location FUNCTIONALITY Once Xpress cooling button is pressed, system op- timally calculates if the car is soaked in sun and takes the driver’s window roll down to flush out the hot air from cabin. Also, air conditioning system will be set to maximum cooling and maximum fan speed for short duration. Once cabin has been sufficiently flushed, the system will announce to take driver window’s roll up which can be taken up using window winding switch. Driver side window may roll down, if: The cabin temperature is more than outside tem- perature. If it is not raining. Vehicle Speed is less than 40 kmph. Further, after sufficiently cooling the cabin, the Xpress cooling function will auto switch off and revert back to customer pre-selected settings. Express cooling functionality is used to improve the HVAC system performance. In case of cabin temperature being considerably greater than outside air temperature. The system will be deactivated automatically after 500 sec of contin- uous operation. NOTE: The Express Cool function can only be turned ON if the Ambient tem-perature is above 18 degree Cel- sius. 6. HMI CLIMATE CONTRL DISPLAY It is located on the dashboard. HMI CLIMATE CONTRL STATUS DISPLAY The Climate Control feature is vehicle dependent. The infotainment system displays the following cli- mate control related information in its display screen bottom bar.
