ELECTRICAL 37 9. Remove Rear Shock Absorber top mounting nyloc nut fastener inside luggage compartment. 10.Remove Rear Shock Absorber. ASSEMBLY Follow the reverse procedure of removal of shock absorber assembly. NOTE: - Shock absorber Bolt to be tighten in ECIE / Pre-loading condition. 9.11 OVERHAULING OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove the rubber pad and metal washer. 2. Remove sub-assembly of bump stopper & dust cover from damper assembly. 3. Check for any oil leakage in the shock absorber, if any replace the unit.  Check bump stop for cracks and replace if any after disassembly from sub-assembly.  Check top rubber for cracks.  Check dust cover for damage and replace it if any after disassembly from sub-assembly. ASSEMBLY 1. Press bump stopper inside ID of dust cover such that dust cover will be fitted in bottom groove of bump stopper. 2. Fit sub-assembly of bump stopper & dust cover on shock absorber. 3. Press bump stopper top groove inside ID of cup bump stopper. 4. Place the metal cover and washer over it. 5. Position the rubber pad over the assembled Unit.
