BCM communicates with LIN Based immobilizer base station (LBIBS) via LIN to authenticate transponder. 2. BCM communicates with EMS via CAN to authenticate & Informs the transponder status to EMS. 3. The EMS ECU and the BCM are paired together by an encrypted secret code called as “AES secret key”, to improve the security of the vehicle.
