ELECTRICAL 133 7 Outside Ambient Temperature Displays outside ambient temperature in units °C or °F. Resolution: 1 °C or °F Note: User can change the Temperature unit using SET and MODE buttons and °F is applicable for Export variant only. The temperature sensor is in the front bumper of the vehicle, therefore the temperature reading can be affected by heat reflection from the road surface, engine heat and the exhaust from surrounding traffic. This can cause an incorrect temperature reading when speed is under low speeds or when stopped. If display shows ‘- - ‘, take your car to TATA authorized service Centre. 8 Service reminder Indicates the number of days or kilometers in which service is due. If service is overdue, It will display “0” km or “0” days and spanner symbol will blink at every ignition ON for few seconds. Never reset the display between service intervals otherwise this may result in to incorrect readings. Information is retained in the service interval display even after the vehicle battery is disconnected. NOTE: This option is for indicative purpose only. Keep track of your odometer reading and follow the maintenance schedule . 9 Door Ajar Indicates the door ajar warning. Applicable to XT, XZ variant. All four doors and tailgate shall be indicated Independently when respective door open. Applicable to XE, XM variants Standard symbols shall be indicated when Driver Door is open. NOTE: If any other door is open roof lamp will be ‘ON’. 10 Drive Mode Applicable to XTA variant. “M” indicates Manual Drive mode. “A” indicates Automatic Drive mode.
