BRAKES (Non EPB) 33 F. PARKING BRAKE CABLE REMOVAL 1. Place the vehicle on two-post lift. 2. Ensure parking brakes in released condition. 3. Loose the lock nut. Separate the LH cable by loosening adjustment nut. 4. Remove ‘cover, rear’ from front console. & remove the cable from hook on parking brake lever. Push inner cable from pipe. 5 Remove the screw from the cable mounting bracket. 6 Separate the RH cable & jointer to free the front cable. 7 Remove snap fitted outer cable end of Rear rh & lh cable from bracket on twist blade. 8 Remove the nut from turn bukle and remove the screw from parking brake clamp to disconnect the brake assembly.
